Who Qualifies
Most children under 21 with special needs qualify.
GAPP is built for medically and developmentally complex children who need extra support at home. If any of this sounds like your family, it is worth a conversation. We will walk you through it, free.
A child under 21
GAPP serves children and young people from birth up to age 21 who live at home in Georgia.
Special or complex needs
Medical, developmental, or chronic conditions that call for skilled nursing or hands-on daily care.

If your child does better at home than in a facility, in-home nursing through Medicaid can make that possible.

Our Director of Nursing meets with you and assesses your child's needs.
Submit application
We pair the assessment with your physician's plan of treatment and request GAPP approval.
Approval
Georgia Medicaid reviews the request, typically within about 30 days.

Get Paid To Care
You can get paid to care for your own child.
Once your child is approved, we build a care team around them. Many families are surprised to learn they can be part of it. Parents and family members can train as caretakers and earn an income while caring for the child they love.
Every approved case is staffed with the right mix of support, so families are never left to manage alone.
